I remember seeing the Arewa symbol a number of times growing up in the North (Abuja, Kaduna and Niger) and always wondered what it meant.

Recently, the drawing came to mind and from there the MINA STONES Arewa ("The Northern Knot") Sterling Silver Quartz Earpiece was birthed.

Amethyst is a gorgeous Purple variety of the Quartz Gemstone.

I am so in love with the vivid color Amethyst used in these pieces..
